Katie was born and raised in Hawaii. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduation, she returned to Hawaii to earn an Associate of Science in Culinary Arts prior to returning to California to obtain her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law.
During law school, Katie focused her studies on Family Law and Juvenile Law and was a member of the Public Service Honors Society. She earned her JD in 2017 and was thereafter admitted to the California State Bar in July 2017.
With eight years of experience practicing Family Law, Katie also dedicated time to pro bono work through the Community Law Project, reflecting her commitment to serving individuals and families in need. She has now moved into Trust and Estates litigation, bringing with her experience in litigation and working with families in their time of need.
Outside of the office, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and son, going to the beach, traveling, visiting the San Diego Zoo, and trying new restaurants.
